"Elvie & Faith were very accommodating. They have a very warm and positive demeanour. We arrived very early from Tofino so we were trying our luck to check in early and indeed, Faith checked us in and even upgraded our room. Excellent customer service!! We loved the location of the property as well. Very close to mall, dining, transpo, etc. P.S. it would be better if there was complimentary water in the room 😅. But everything else was good!! "

"For business and for a few days of fun, we often stay at this hotel. The parking is free and ample. There is an excellent Chinese restaurant in the hotel. There is a pub and a liquor store as well. There is an outdoor pool. Rooms are large and often have kitchenettes and there are suites available —all at reasonable cost. Very comfortable beds in case you choose to sleep! You’ll have a great stay and save money to spend in other enjoyable ways."

"The hotel is delightfully quaint, the staff super friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood is quiet and an easy walk to restaurants, the Parliament Buildings and other sites and into town. Our room was very comfortable with a great bed and linens. Five stars for value, cleanliness, staff/service, area, etc. we will definitely stay here again. "

"First time at the Chateau Victoria, and I could not be more impressed. Excellent service! Everyone was very welcoming. I arrived way before check-in time, and they checked me in early at no cost because the room was ready. So great first impression with that! Then I had a minor issue with the shower, and the time between me informing the front desk and the issue being resolved was about 5 minutes, probably less. "The Amethyst is a wonderful Victorian mansion full of character. It’s as if time stood still. My room was lovely, crisp bed linens & very cozy.
